PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago, September 8, 2026 – PBS Group today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Trinidad Systems Limited (TSL), acquiring the remaining 55% interest and taking full ownership of the company.
The acquisition builds on a partnership established in 2024, when PBS Group first invested in the company. With a 47-year history in Trinidad and Tobago, TSL has built a strong reputation for integrity, longstanding customer relationships and exceptional service.
As part of PBS Group, TSL will benefit from the Group’s regional expertise, resources and global partnerships. The company will continue to operate as a separate entity under the TSL brand, with no changes to existing customer contracts, services or support arrangements.
With the completion of the acquisition, Stuart Franco, Chief Executive Officer of TSL, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for the Eastern Caribbean Cluster, which includes Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda and other member countries of the OECS.
In his new role, Franco will oversee both TSL and PBS operations and report directly to Pedro Paris, PBS Group CEO.
TSL’s management team will remain in place, ensuring continuity for customers, employees and partners.
“Our people and our customers remain at the heart of what we do, and that will not change. As we look ahead, this is an important next step for TSL. Being part of The PBS Group means we can now expand our offering to the Central and South American markets,” said Franco.
Pedro Paris, PBS Group CEO, said the acquisition supports the Group’s broader regional strategy.
“As PBS continues to grow, we are focused on stronger collaboration and enhancing our offering across our seven core business areas,” said Paris. “TSL brings a longstanding relationship with Xerox in Trinidad and Tobago and a range of enterprise payment solutions that complement our existing portfolio.”
The acquisition is another step in PBS Group’s strategy to strengthen its regional presence, enhance its offering and strengthen regional leadership. It follows the recent leadership appointments of Eduardo Rodriguez as PBS Group Chief Financial Officer and Ezequiel Bardas as Chief Operating Officer for Latin America.
